can you hear me ?
Google has always gone far far beyond. Google is the best of the best of the best. The Best of the Best is so yesterday at Google. This doesn't seem like an exaggeration or cheap flattery. And Google has been willing to make tough decisions to stay on The cutting edge. Quite often they add things, occasionally they cut products or features.
When Google came out with Android it wasn't really clear what the long-term impact would be. People could sense that it was a breath of fresh air in the stale perfection of apples products and the current proprietary nature of the cell phone market. Looking back, it obviously was a great call for the cell phone market.
This brings us to the Pixel phone. It has some great features. Mine works great and runs for months without rebooting. To my surprise Bluetooth has me weened from the 3.5mm Jack. Ok, Google 1. Which brings us to the glaring, Apple like, lack of an SD card. This is a big negative. In fact it was so negative that when Google started trying to sell me monthly disk storage, it was time to get a phone with an SD card slot. Google loses in the phone market.
In fact, the whole disk space thing is incredibly bad. Google did some convoluted limited time, unlimited picture thing that was different on different phones, but the current result for me is that the pictures taken on the Pixel only show up on that phone. So there is a 1 year gap in my photos. 😩 😫 Ugh.
The challenge ?
Be Google once again.
Wake up.
Smell the coffee, not the manure.
